Creating Single-Sided Evaluations
Create single-sided evaluations to assess one experience against your rating criteria.
When to Use Single-Sided Evaluations
Single-sided evaluations (SSE) are ideal when you want to assess a single experience against a rubric rather than comparing two options. Use SSE for standalone quality audits, baseline measurements, and tracking UX quality over time.
Creating an SSE
- Navigate to the Evaluations page and click "New Evaluation".
- Select "Single-Sided" as the evaluation type.
- Enter a name and description for your evaluation.
- Provide the URL or upload a screenshot of the experience to evaluate.
- Select rating dimensions or apply a template.
- Click "Create" to save.
SSE vs SxS Results
SSE results show absolute scores for each dimension. Unlike SxS evaluations, there is no relative comparison. This makes SSE useful for tracking how a design improves over time by running repeated evaluations with the same dimensions.
