Why Create Custom Autousers?
While the built-in personas cover common evaluation perspectives, your team may need Autousers tailored to your specific product domain, user base, or evaluation criteria. Custom Autousers let you define exactly how the AI should evaluate experiences.
Creating a Custom Autouser
- Navigate to the Autousers page and click "Create Autouser".
- Give your autouser a descriptive name, such as "E-commerce Shopper" or "Healthcare Professional".
- Write a system prompt that describes the persona's background, expertise, priorities, and evaluation style.
- Optionally configure the AI model temperature for more varied or more consistent ratings.
- Save the autouser. It will be available for use across all your evaluations.
Writing Effective System Prompts
A good system prompt clearly describes who the persona is, what they care about, and how they approach evaluation. Be specific about the persona's experience level, domain knowledge, and the aspects of UX they prioritize.
Include concrete examples in your system prompt. For example: "You are a busy parent who shops online during short breaks. You value speed, clear product information, and easy checkout above all else."
Team Sharing
Custom Autousers created within a team workspace are shared with all team members. Personal Autousers are only available to you.
